what's newThe stars are making a comeback... that's right, Down to Earth Astrology is back every Monday from July 14th, 2008 until i get downsized by independent media again. New Matilda are obviously too awesome to consider such a thing.I was pleased (and surprised) to be shortlisted in this year's PressPress Chapbook Award. Bless those independent publishers! My story The Shipping Views will be published in an anthology commemorating ten years of NYWFs. The anthology, Herding Kites, comes out in October. I'm also excited to be participating in Varuna's Longlines program early next year - a great privilege. A story, Look Down With Me, was recently commended in the Alan Marshall Prize. If you want to read it, it's in my new zine. Wordstorm was grand. My debut novel, The Diamond Anchor, will be published by UQP in 2009! I am contractually obliged not to let you read any of it until then. for regular updates, read the blog. |
