May fiction podcast: Aperture

Here’s one for those who missed the Spineless Wonders gig in Adelaide on Tuesday – that includes me, since the Holden decided to have an attack of Carkinson’s Disease half an hour down the highway. A great night was had by all reports and the next is scheduled for August.

[update 16/5: beautiful photos from the event have been posted on the SWP blog]

Aperture was written during my time in Beijing as Asialink writer in residence in 2010. It was first published in Meanjin and will soon appear in my forthcoming collection The Rest is Weight. No fish were harmed.
